Apparently unique with this interesting spelling error on the reverse
Lot 3070
Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.26 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right, the helmet decorated with two stars. Rev. VIRTV-S NVGG (sic!) / P - R / R T Campgate with closed doors and three turrets. RIC -, cf. 176. Of the highest rarity, apparently unique with this interesting spelling error on the reverse. Light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, formed since 1969.

The reverse legend reads 'VIRTV-S NVGG', which is clearly a spelling error. While Roman engravers often made an A look like an H, on this coin, the engraved letter is a very distinct N. This is one of only two spelling mistakes in the entire Ramskold Collection of Rome RIC emissions 143-224. In addition, the design is interesting, showing double block boundaries in the gate.
